Cattle for Sale or Lease

At Bonnie Glen Highlands, the welfare of our cattle is our highest priority. All cattle are only sold or leased to homes with appropriate cattle handling facilities, including secure fencing, well-designed yards, a crush, and the companionship of other cattle.

Paisley of Avon Mist (10843)

For Sale

We've made the difficult decision to offer Paisley of Avon Mist for sale to the right home.

Paisley is a beautifully natured little red heifer with plenty of Highland character. At almost two years of age, she remains very small in frame and, at this stage, would not be suitable to join with a bull for at least another 12–18 months while she continues to mature.

For those who love the look of the "mini Highland", Paisley is about as close as you can get naturally—without deliberately breeding for miniature genetics and the health and welfare concerns that can accompany them. She is simply a naturally petite Highland with all the breed's charm and character.

Paisley is a quiet, gentle girl who enjoys a scratch with a show cane, although she is not halter trained and can be a little shy with new people. We feel she would thrive in a patient home where she can continue to build confidence.

She would make a wonderful paddock companion or pet, with the potential to become a breeding female in the future if she matures into a larger frame.

Fionnghall of Jinglemoney (10161)

For Lease

We are pleased to offer Fionnghall of Jinglemoney for lease to approved folds.

Fionnghall is a proven young sire combining functionality, Highland breed character and an exceptionally quiet temperament. He has successfully passed a comprehensive fertility examination and already has calves on the ground, providing confidence in his breeding ability.

Structurally, Fionnghall is a well-balanced bull with strong feet, correct conformation and the traditional Highland attributes sought by breeders. His excellent temperament makes him an easy bull to handle, whether for experienced breeders or those new to working with Highland cattle.

Leasing provides an opportunity to introduce quality Highland genetics into your herd without the long-term commitment of purchasing a bull.
